Spacebar Clicker operates spacebarclickerfree.com from the United States. This policy explains information handled when you visit, play, rate a game, or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@spacebarclickerfree.com.
Information we handle and why
- Preferences and saves. Your theme choice and hosted game saves use this browser’s local storage or IndexedDB. They restore game progress and preferences. These local saves are separate from the ratings database and are not uploaded to it.
- Ratings. Submitting a vote stores a random browser identifier, game identifier, one-to-five-star score, and last update time. A cookie remembers the identifier so you can revise an existing vote. Public pages show averages and counts, not identifiers or individual voting histories.
- Messages. If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments. Email providers also process correspondence. We use it to answer questions and investigate technical, privacy, or copyright reports.
- Requests and logs. Delivering and protecting a website involves information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time. Hosting providers may record operational and security logs for delivery, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
Our current pages have no user accounts, payment forms, public comments, or first-party advertising or analytics scripts. Embedded content on our site can include additional data collection and advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
The scf-theme preference and local game saves use local storage or IndexedDB. Some game settings and save fallbacks can use cookies. The scf-voter cookie is set after a successful rating submission and lasts up to one year, renewed after a successful vote. It is separate from your game save. See the Cookie Policy for storage names, purposes, durations, and controls.
Services used on our site
Some players on our site load embedded content from external domains only after you press Play. The player cover identifies the domain before loading. Starting that content sends network requests to that domain and may involve cookies, saves, advertising, analytics, or additional services. Those requests and storage are separate from our local saves and ratings system and follow the privacy practices of the services involved.
Games hosted on our domain store their local progress under this site. External players use storage associated with their own domains. We do not provide accounts for cloud saves or cross-device game synchronization.
The site is configured for Cloudflare Workers hosting and a Cloudflare D1 ratings database. When deployed there, Cloudflare processes information to provide those services. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Email providers handle support correspondence. Information may also be disclosed to respond to a valid legal requirement, protect the service, or investigate misuse. Information in a content complaint may be shared with parties involved when needed to investigate that complaint.
The operator is based in the United States. Services used for hosting, email, and embedded content may process information in the United States or other countries where their services operate.
Retention
Local storage remains until you clear it, your browser removes it, or the game replaces or resets its save. The rating cookie expires as described above. The current ratings database has no automatic expiry; votes remain until removed by the operator. Cookie deletion or expiry does not delete the corresponding database vote.
Support correspondence is retained for the request and related follow-up, disputes, or legal obligations; there is no single fixed period for every message. Hosting logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s settings and retention practices.
Your choices and requests
You may browse without rating, avoid starting external players, and clear or block browser storage. Blocking storage can affect game loading, saving, themes, and recognition of an earlier vote. Export important saves before clearing data when a game provides a backup option.
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or limit certain processing. Send requests, or a request to review our response, to contact@spacebarclickerfree.com. We may need information to verify a request and locate the relevant record. A random voter identifier is not an account; locating a vote may be difficult after its cookie has been cleared. Requests are handled by email, rather than an automatic account or vote-deletion page.
Children and parents
We do not ask visitors to create profiles or provide their age. Children under 13 should not submit ratings or send personal information; a parent or guardian can contact us on their behalf. Parents should review the player notices and storage information before starting embedded content. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Security and changes
Use the public site over HTTPS. The rating cookie is HttpOnly and marked Secure on HTTPS connections. These measures do not eliminate every security risk. Do not send passwords, payment details, or unnecessary sensitive information in messages.
We will update this policy and its date when practices change. Any additional notice or permission required by applicable law must be handled before the relevant processing begins.
